DBi Services acquires Maryland Branch of Mercier’s Inc. Right of Way Maintenance (ROW) Division

Effective January 26, 2016, DBi Services has acquired the assets of the Maryland Branch of Mercier’s Inc. Right of Way Maintenance (ROW) Division.

Located in Harmans, Maryland just outside of BWI Baltimore International Airport, Mercier’s employs 34 under ownership of Craig Mercier. The Maryland Branch of Mercier’s currently provides stormwater and excavating services for the Maryland State Highway Administration and Maryland Transit Authority, as well as private industry.

Craig is also the owner of the Mercier’s Inc. Central Branch which is based out of South Point, Ohio where he employs over 100 and has been in business for over 35 years in the Railroad and DOT maintenance markets.

DBi will operate the business under the name DBi Services, maintaining operations in the current Baltimore area location. DBi will continue to provide quality general contracting services and expand its core services in Maryland, as well as bring excavating services into its core line of offerings. This acquisition now positions DBi to become one of the largest highway maintenance contractors inMaryland.
