DBi Services acquires Ainsty Timber Marketing Limited (ATM)
On Friday July 29, DBi Services completed the acquisition of Ainsty Timber Marketing Limited (ATM), whose portfolio includes all aspects of landscaping, highway maintenance, fencing and vegetation management/maintenance and light civil works to a wide range of industry sectors including government, development corporations, councils, utilities, major contractors and architects.
With more than 30 years of experience, ATM has the infrastructure necessary to handle large and often complex and demanding projects. Located in Boroughbridge York in the North Yorkshire area of the UK, ATM employs 20+ employees on diverse projects throughout England and Scotland.
DBi will operate the business under the name ATM, maintaining operations in the current area location until a full transition is completed in late 2016/early 2017. DBi will continue to provide quality general contracting services and expand its core services throughout the UK, as well as bring a new line of services into its core line portfolio. This acquisition now positions DBi to quickly diversify its existing core services.
“The acquisition of ATM is a very strategic one for DBi and a great opportunity to diversify our services throughout the UK and continue to grow into new markets,” said John LeFante, Vice-President of Operations for the International Business Unit. “DBi Services is excited to welcome the employees of ATM into the DBi family.”
DBi Services is headquartered in Hazleton, PA. Founded in 1978 by Neal and Paul DeAngelo, DBi has a worldwide network of over 50 locations and 1500 employees, providing infrastructure maintenance, management and operations solutions to government agencies, railways, utilities and private industries.
