Lawn Specialties will design a program suited specifically for your landscape's needs. Our programs consist of the following treatments to your landscape's plant material:

• Dormant Oil Application - Reduces the population of some overwintering insects in their egg form. In the spring when the eggs normally hatch, the population has already been substantially reduced and easier to control throughout the growing season.
  
  
• Insect Control Applications - Properly timed insect control is provided with the correct formulations for the pest pressures during that time frame.
  • Early Spring targets destructive caterpillar stages of insects such as Gypsy Moth, Canker Worm and Eastern Tent Caterpillar, as well as Birch Leaf Miner and Holly Leaf Miner.
  • Late Spring / Early Summer targets the crawling stage of distructive scale type insects, Aphids, Lace Bugs and Spider Mites.
  • Late Summer targets the various Web Worm insects, along with continued control over late hatches of Scale insects, Aphids, Lace Bugs and Spider Mites.
  
  
• Disease Control Applications - Properly timed disease control is provided with the correct formulations for the disease pressures during that time frame.
  • Early Spring targets defoliating diseases such as anthracnose, apple scab, diplodia tip blight, and cedar apple rust.
  • Late Spring targets left over spores from the above mentioned diseases, as well as diseases on hardwoods that normally experience leaf expansion during this time frame.
  
  
• Fall Fertilization - Root Zone injection of slow released balanced fertilizer to promote root growth and overall increased health and vigor of your landscape material throughout the year.
  
  
• Bed Weed Control - This application guarantees season long weed control within your shrub beds.
  
  
• Antidesiccant Application - Provides protection to your ornamental shrubs against winter injury and wind burn.
