DATA COLLECTION AND MANAGEMENT

Global Mapping Solutions will collect and manage large complex databases in client selected formats. Data collection systems are implemented on a wide range of GPS equipment from low-cost receivers to high-end mapping units with accuracies to the centimeter level.

Field data collected is communicated directly to GMS master databases to ensure information captured is current and secure. As it is collected, remote data can then be made available via the internet, providing the most current information at any given time. Types of data collected and managed include:

• Natural resource inventory and assessment
• Attribute condition support data
• Fleet vehicle monitoring for efficient redeployment or scheduling adjustments
• Treatment application and control analysis for vegetation sites such as highways, railroads, industrial facilities and public lands

Data collection can be combined with custom spatial analysis to deliver products easily integrated for existing systems or management needs.
