GRAFFITI REMOVAL
DeAngelo Brothers, Inc., offers Graffiti Removal by a number of different methods, as well as protective coating services to aid in future removal in areas that are repeatedly targeted.
REMOVAL METHODS

Chemical Removal
Biodegradable chemicals are applied to surface, breaking down graffiti so it can then be removed with heated, high pressure water. Especially good on masonry and metal surfaces.
Sandblasting
Propelled sand is used to remove markings for more porous surfaces where chemicals are not as effective. Can also be used in cold temperature conditions when high pressure water is not an option.

Soda Blasting
Similar to sandblasting, baking soda is injected into the water stream of a high pressure washer. The baking soda is propelled by the high pressure water against the surface, producing the same effect as sandblasting. However, after the baking soda strikes the surface, its particles are then dissolved by the water leaving no residue or accumulation, unlike sandblasting. A good method for areas with environmental concerns.
Paint Over
Matching the color of the original surface, all markings are painted over. This is a good method for areas where environmental or structural issues will not allow chemical or abrasive removal.

Protective Coatings
Sacrificial and permanent protective coatings are applied to clean surfaces to create a barrier between the surface and graffiti markings. The coatings do not allow the markings to adhere to the surface, allowing for easier removal, usually with high pressure heated water only.
